Set up
From idea to energy community. Together you set up the legal entity, with articles of association, a board and members.
Everything for your energy community on one platform
Groupp.energy is the decentralised energy platform. Your energy community uses it to arrange everything, from setting up to a fully fledged local energy company. Groupp community is at the heart, surrounded by the services your community needs.
Groupp community, where your community comes together
In groupp community, you organise the energy community: the members, the board and the agreements. We guide a professional set-up with our own software platform, which lets the energy community organise itself, bring residents and businesses on board and start using the related energy services.
Organise
Members, decisions, governance and compliance clearly arranged in one place.
One invoice, clear insight
Members get everything on one invoice and can see what they consume, generate and share.
Buy together
A neighbourhood battery, for example: buy together, use together and settle fairly.
The services on the platform
Organising is always the first step. Then the community chooses the services that suit its area. In an existing neighbourhood, you usually start with sharing and supplying energy; in new developments, with the capacity cap. The same services, only the order differs.
Sharing and supplying energy
Sharing locally generated electricity within the community, with no margin on the kWh.
Capacity cap and LSO
One agreed maximum for the whole area. As Local System Operator, we carry out the capacity responsibility on behalf of the community.
Area analysis
How well do generation and consumption in an area coincide, and how can you increase that? The starting point for partners, in existing areas and new developments.
Self-supply
Guidance towards self-supply: the community takes control and becomes the energy supplier for its own members.
A site of its own for every groupp
Every energy community on the platform gets its own homepage, at its own address within groupp.energy. Interested residents and businesses sign up there, and existing members log in.
That way, this website remains the place to get to know groupp.energy, and every groupp has its own home for its members.
Let’s groupp!
Curious what an energy community could mean for your area? We’re happy to think along with you, whether you’re a developer, municipality, grid operator or energy cooperative.
